I just thought I'd mention a great director's course I just finished. It's in NYC and it's called the Motion Picture Pro Course (800-556-3556). It was 3-4 weeks of 8 hr days and you get to cast, direct, and edit your own short script for $5000. It was cool because you're provided with a professional crew and all the support you need. You edit with a great editor and the guy that runs the school is a super guy. If you're interested in directing a test-scene to try to raise $ for your feature...it's worth a look.
