We are currently making one of the most important films you will ever see! Did you know only FIVE corporations control almost everything you see, read and hear? The RADIO, the TV, the NEWSPAPERS, even the INTERNET are controlled by a paltry few. This isn't the way it's been in the past and it certainly isn't the way it has to be in the future. In 2003, the FCC made shocking changes to media ownership rules allowing for even more consolidation within these large corporations. Because of an unprecedented response by concerned Americans, the courts overturned these rules and sent the FCC back to the drawing board. Well, it's 2006 and the FCC are back at that drawing board ready to make changes again. Although they promise the "public will be involved", our bet is this is the first time you're hearing about it. We need your voice now more than ever before! The media is what informs us about the world we live in. The "Walmartization" of our media is unacceptable and a threat to our nation's democracy.
