My Screenplay

One of the screenwriting contests (that I entered) just informed me that I'm a semi-finalist. They picked 15 of 320 scripts. My very first screenplay was chosen one of the fifteen! YAY!!!! Who knows, I might get the thing optioned after all. Stay tuned.

My Screenplay

Hey thanks for the kind words, WPS. The sad thing is that it won with the draft from December. I have (since) written two polishes and I think it's even tighter now... at 110 pages. There is a voting process but it's run by the contest. I have no idea who I'm up against.

Contest Update

Okay, I got the results of two more contests that I entered... One of them, I didn't advance. Probably because they had a very early version that wasn't so tight. Sad The other one, I did make it to round two! Laughing out loud So that's two contests that like it. More updates to follow.

Congrats man. I'm working on a new "polish" of a couple of my scripts. As soon as their registered I'll send them to you. I may try my hand at a couple contests as well so I'll keep you updated. Send me the latest draft you have from 2/18. Good luck with the contests. If you want I can have my wife take a look at the scripts for any grammatical errors. She's and English major and exceptional at spotting grammar errors.

haha that movie looks so bad, it looks like another aeon flux, which i never saw either becasue it looked shitty as well.

I'm just not comfortable with giving out my script's story for all to see. A few on this board have read it. All I will say is that it's an action film with a strong female central character. But unlike "Ultra Violet" mine has a story, we care about the characters and it has an end. Oh, and it's sprinkled with bits of comedy.

Congrats on the win my friend. Sorry I haven't been getting back to you lately. I'm doing rewrite number 6 on my latest script. Sometimes I think I'm too critical on my own scripts.
