cut throat blood ooze effect

Hi,

i am going to be doing this short this summer and I need to cheaply make an effect where my killer slashes somones throat and the blood pours out of the wound.. I don't wanna cut from the slashing to the blood pouring. I want it all in one quick shot.. Can anyone help me? I saw a place in england that has the prosthetic for the neck slash.. but i want the blood to pour..

Your help is greatly appreciate it..
