Buying a Camera

Hello, I've been around for a while never really posted anything though,
Anyway I have a huge dilemma I am trying to decide between two cameras each have advantages and disadvantages, the Panasonic DVX100B and the Cannon XL1s.
XL1s pros;
I like Cannon, they produce very nice images, I have a Cannon now so I am familiar with them to some degree.
It's a nice looking camera but it's also very functional it's easy to modify it attach different lenses and microphones and such.
Cheeper then the DVX because it's used, (however originally it was more expensive).
Shoots at 2 lux (the DVX shots at a minimum of 3).
The cons;
No 24p
It's used.

DVX100B Pros;
Still in production so I could buy it new.
24p mode.
It's smaller easier to carry.
It's popular with lots of filmmakers.
Cons;
More expensive
I am less familiar with the brand
the body is not as flexible in terms of attachments.

So which would you recommend?
Sorry for the length.

I prefer the Panasonic

I prefer the Panasonic

dvx

I have shot extensively on the dvx 100b and I would definitely recommend that particular camera. Especially because the Canon does not do 24p.
