Hi Vectar,
I've found the best VST for strings so far I've come across is the EastWest Symphonic Orchestra Gold -
I used these in the score for 'Fragile' - listen to the MP3 at www.davidbeardmusic.com
All the best,
David
Hi there,
I have just started up a new forum for composers of game, tv, and film to join. It will allow us all the create our own online community, and will allow film makers and game developers to come to us to find composers, rather than what is currently the opposite - composers having to seek game developers and film makers.
I would advise you to join, and make yourself known. I will be constantly updating the site, and theres already plenty of intervies with filmscore composers, and game soundtrack composers, and also plenty of links to articles, and free software

I agree with David, the EastWest bundle is great.
If you don't have much to spend, the MOTU Symphonic Instrument is decent.
