I used to love watching horror movies Halloween, Blair Witch Project but now I cannot watch them anymore. The latest batch have been so bad that they have ruined any enjoyment I had for the genre. On the other hand as a kid I never enjoyed science fiction and Star Wars was a bore, now I cannot get enough of it. I love all things Sci-Fi including Star Wars. My fave Sci-fi movie (And yes it is also a horror) is Alien by Ridley Scott, a classic.
I feel exactly the same, I suppose your view of movies changes with age. As a teen it's all slasher movies and gore. When you mature so does your variety of movies you prefer (or so it would seem) more intellectual fare such as The Dark Knight and certainly Inception. Saying that last week I watched The Expendables and thoroughly enjoyed it, so did the GF. As a youth I enjoyed movies such as Star Wars but now I have (hopefully) matured I prefer more intellectual Science fiction movies such as Solaris and Sunshine.
it should be out on DVD. Not

The Original Halloween has
The Original Halloween has been available on Blu-ray since 2nd October 2007. Hope this helps.
I bought the original on dvd
I bought the original on dvd a few years back then instantly saw just how dated it was. That doesn't mean I want re-hashes being done of it.
