This is Jesse Hopkins, a professional composer working full-time from my home studio as a contractor for various projects. I decided to post in this forum to see if I could be of service to likeminded directors.

I think that finding a good "match" with a director is sometimes very daunting, so let me talk a little about the projects I'd like to be involved in:

Projects that need specific scoring. This is a must. I am not really interested in creating wallpaper or music that the director intends to shuffle around as he/she pleases.

Projects that need a composer whose sound is rooted in Golden Age and Classical film music. I will go quirky. I will experiment with different sounds. I'll even delve into Jazz or incorporate some popular sounds. But my music is rooted in the classical tradition.
