Filter Use To Create Specific Look

I am shooting a short film on 16mm in few weeks. I am preparing for my camera tests and will be testing some Tiffen Filters shortly; however I having a little bit of trouble deciding which filters to test. I will be testing on Kodak Vision 2 200T 7217 and possibly a 250D stock as well.

Location - INT OFFICE
Story - Dark Comedy

I want to give the director two different looks and see what we are dealing with.
The first look I am going to try is using a tobacco 85 filter.

My question really involves the second look I am considering
Think the office scene from American Beauty. Avoiding white walls by creating pooled light that allows the light to fall off in the background. I am considering using the 82 series of cooling filters and seeing what I get.

If anyone has suggestions i would really appreciate any help.

Thanks for reading.
