Filming in the desert with the ARRI SR3

Hey!
I will assist on a feature film in the maroccean desert. Now I'm really afraid of all the sand and so I buyed lots of tape and cleaning stuff. But I think it won't really help against all the dust and so I have to open the cam for cleaning. Is there anybody who is experienced with this???
I think its better to not touch the filmalley, but the engine is really easy to reach from the side (where the manual wheel is). But is it a good idea to open the bottom???

And a 1.AC told me, it would be good to know how to open lenses...!?

Is there anybody with experiences and tipps?

Thank you!
