Filmaka Competition

After the success of its First Nine contests, Filmaka has launched its Tenth contest 'The Clinic'. Submissions are accepted till 30th September 2007.This month’s topic is "The Clinic" and all 1-3 minute films must be uploaded by midnight PST, 30th September, 2007. The annual grand prize is a feature film contract.
Filmaka.com is a new online competition, judged by award winning filmmakers including Werner Herzog, Neil LaBute, Paul Schrader and Wim Wenders, and founded by leading independent producers and financiers. Filmmakers have a new chance to enter each month, and submissions are accepted in 10 different languages.

To all involved staff,members and guests on this great site i would just like to say hello as i'm new to this site, my name is Cec Kirk and i'm the founder of a company called Gatlin Co ltd..... what i'd really like to do is network with people who are serious about creating and promoting film- all types ...shorts, documentories, full length, animation whatever. My intentions are to gather content to showcase on my forthcoming movie web chanel- 'forevericon.com' and in doing so promote all involved in films and the people behind the productions. I entered a short in the contest "the voyeur" and was one of the winners of the entry level. I'm still waiting to receive my prize money from that. Has anyone won a contest on that site and received the prize money, and if so, how long did it take???
