I currently attend the MFA program in the School of Communication at American University. I'd like to recommend the program especially to people interested in documentary, commercial and advocacy or non-profit filmmaking. Washington DC has a vibrant community, and the school does a great job providing interfaces and opportunities to students. Tons of visiting filmmakers and special programs. Also, lots of broadcasting opportunities.
