Okay, I already wrote this before, but after a long wait it wasn't posted, and yes I've done everything possibe to view it. Oh well, I'll look like a complete moron if you see two posts from me. Anyways let me mention that Art Center College of Design is considered the Harvard of art & design colleges in the United States, some of the best programs in world are taught here. The film program is awesome, I love being able to learn how to do other aspects of filmmaking, such as commericials, music videos, documentaries, ect. My focus more or less is documentary work. But I really want to direct music videos and such, then later down the road direct my own features. Art Center prides itself on making sure they help you gain a job in the industry. They don't just give you your degree and hope the best for you, they want you to succeed, because if you become great then they are recognized for that also. Surveys from Alumni have been taken and out of those who responded, 94% of them were placed in the industry less than six months after graduation. The environment is one of the most creative in the country and the students are all serious. They do only accept 13 students per semester so offer a great portfolio. Being a filmmaker, you have to understand that you more than likely will not become the next Alfred Hitchcock or James Cameron. Be sure that you can be versitile after graduation.
