Have an original score for my film, Looking for somepne who is fluent in classical music theory and is capable of transposing for a full orchestra from piano or guitar. http://www.blinktwice.net/films/ThethievesGuild.mov that's my film, the song is about 5 minutes long. I've been a musician for 15 years so I'm only looking for someone who's serious about work.
have you found an orchestrator yet?
I am a film composer/orchestrator. I have scored several films. I have my bachelor's degree in music education, my master's degree in music composition, and just completed the UCLA film scoring program. I have studied orchestration in all three programs. I recently had one of my compositions performed by a 70 piece ensemble. Please check out my website to learn more about me and to listen to mp3 files of my music (www.jeremydossfilmcomposer.com). I would love to have the chance to orchestrate your music. Please contact me through my website. Thanks for your time and consideration.

In the past I have charged $50 per minute of music. However, email me an offer and more details about what you want and we can go from there. My email address is: (jers...@sbcglobal.net). I look forward to hearing from you. Jeremy
Re: looking for an orchestrator
Hello, In case you still need an arranger I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am a well trained (more than 6 years of musical training that resulted in a diploma in composition and arranging) and experienced film and TV composer and arranger with lots of experience from orchestral arranging. RYDELL'S MUSIC SAMPLER
Okay, so I just listened to your six music samples. I clicked on each one and closed my eyes. If music can summon visuals, for me, that's good music for film. I must say that ALL sections were pretty cool. The Blues/Jazz, the orchestra & techno/ambient sections stood out for me personally. You have some great melodic talent there. If I may offer two small suggestions. 1) Instead of saying it's "oriental" you might use the word Asian. But the song was more East Indian with the Sitar as the main instrument. It felt more Indian or Arabic - not Asian. 2) Your scary section was a bit heavy on synth and it sounded (for the most part) more techno or industrial than scary. It needed more suspenseful passages or shocking points. Just my opinion. Overall, I think your talents are going to land you gigs in no time. By the way, I bought my GMC from a Rydell dealership - any relation?
comments are always welcome
Thanks for your comment. I certainly appreciate feedback and I will have your thoughts in mind next time I update my demos. Nope, I think I am not related to who sold you that GMC, at least none I know of... Cheers
Thomas
