Hi all, I am new to Professional Editing Software. I was wondering if there were any tutorials that could introduce me too Adobe Premeire 6.0. Thank You CHris
The manual that came with it should have several examples and a good tutorial set included. There's also ADOBE CLASSROOM IN A BOOK series that are good. The Premiere 6.0 is several versions old. You can probably find the manuals, guides, and other goodies for cheap on Ebay.com. Hell, I'll sell you my manual for $5 - I use Avid Xpress Pro HD and Adobe Premiere Pro now.

I take great exception to that. I have never read an Adobe manual that actually helped me do anything. They seem to be comprised of 20 pages at the beginning telling you how great the latest version is over the old one. Then 30 pages of color plates demonstrating the effects of the blur filter with before and after shots. followed up by 10 pages of an index that doesn't have any words in it that anyone would ever actually need to look up. I once spent a full work day trying to find a way to export an alpha channel from Adobe After Effects. The words "Alpha Channel" were not in the index, not in any chapter heading and only the basic concept of an Alpha Channel was discussed in generalized terms anywhere in the book. I eventually found a small selection box hidden in an export settings dialogue window that did the trick. But only after I'd already pulled my hair out. --Trey
I find the quickstart guide good if you have experience with other Adobe products as they're all similar in gui. If your not go the 'in 24hrs' guides, theyre good at introducing things from scratch.
