Develop a high impact multimedia experience that motivates the average person to desire change in how we, but more specifically our corporations, produce our energy. Throughout recent history the power of film has been a force of change in our world. I need your help to continue that trend at a time when we need it the most. The Offer: Top prize $400 plus the chance to be commissioned to make up to 10 sequels. You and your work gains exposure you couldn�t pay for. Plus we pay $25 for any entry we use that does not win top prize. We are trying to start a revolution! The Contest: Make a 60 second film using any format (video, animation, flash media etc.) that motivates the audience to care about the use of renewable energy in out society. Use comedy, satire, wit and whatever other styles you need to, to make people care about clean energy and motivate them to want to change the way we produce energy. In essence I want you to condense �An Incontinent Truth� into a 60 sec short film which has the potential for up to 10 sequels. Be creative; find a way in 60 sec to motivate Americans to use Clean Energy. Pull at the audience�s emotional heart strings; make them laugh while making them think. Try to make it as apolitical as possible but be critical of status quo. The Objective: To build awareness around the development of renewable energy and to associate this awareness with the Clean Energy Certification that Clean Energy International, the company sponsoring the contest, is developing. Guidelines: 1. You can use any form of media: Film, Animation, Flash media etc. 2. Use satire, comedy and wit. Try to be entertaining but informative. 3. Use any of the ideas, facts and statement listed at the end of this document in the framework of your short film. This is not required you can come up with your own facts but make sure they come from quality sources or it will disqualify you. 4. Make it something people will tell their friends about. Make it outrageous and crazy if you want. The more it makes people talk about it the better. 5. Have a strong Hook you use to real them in and leave them wanting more. This should be the first is a sequence of 10, make them want to see the next one so bad that they go in search for it when it comes out. 6. Entries will be judges on 5 categories; Inspirational/motivational value, Entertain Value, Stickiness value, Information Value and desire to come back for more. a.
